Based on this, this article and the research I’ve done so far, I conclude
1. Don’t use anything with Nonoxynol9
2. Don’t use spermicide products more than once a day because it can cause irritation or infections. Spermicide can already cause those in some people who are more sensitive but even if you aren’t sensitive it’s not a good idea to use it, especially as the irritation makes it easier to get STIs.
3. There is no research that says that condoms with spermicide is more effective, and if you do choose to use them you should always make sure the spermicide has not dried in any way because that would cause the condom to tare, rendering it useless. They also have a shorter shelf life so always be weary of this
4. In fact, condoms that come made with spermicide don’t come with enough spermicide to be effective.
